Join The Human Pack

At Adventure Pet, you’ll be an integral part of our team, helping ensure every dog has a safe, enriching, and fun experience in our custom, outdoor-only facility. From supervising group play to assisting with boarding, grooming, and training , your work directly impacts the dogs’ health, happiness, and overall wellbeing.

We value pack members who are hands-on, reliable, and passionate about animal care. This is a physically active role where you’ll be moving lots, cleaning boarding areas, observing dogs, and interacting with clients. You’ll also have opportunities to grow your skills in areas like dog training, grooming, and behavior work—and we encourage curiosity in broader fields such as adoptions, veterinary care, and other animal welfare initiatives.

Applicants must:

· Own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license

· Maintain a positive attitude and work well in a collaborative, flat-tier team environment

· Be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift

· Be comfortable working with large, strong, reactive, or untrained dogs, especially during evaluations (temperament tests)

· Be willing to clean bodily waste regularly, including slobber, vomit, feces, and urine

· Understand that you will often leave work dirty, tired, and physically worn out

· Be able to stand, walk, and stay active for most of an 8–10 hour shift

· Have flexibility to work holidays when scheduled

· Be able to work in loud environments and varying weather conditions, including excessive heat, cold, rain, snow, and generally unpleasant weather. If the pack is enjoying the weather, we are out there monitoring them!

· Be comfortable intervening in dog conflicts when properly trained to do so

· Have a basic understanding of canine body language, such as recognizing signs of stress or escalation (tail tucked, excessive drooling, raised hackles) as well as healthy play behavior

How to apply/ join our pack

· Submit Your Application: Please send your resume to cj@adventurepet.com. Tell us about your experience with dogs, why you’re interested in this role, and any areas of animal care you’re eager to explore.

· Include Your Availability: Let us know which days you are able to work, including weekends or holidays if possible.

· Be Honest About Experience: We value honesty and curiosity over years of experience. Even if you’re new to professional dog care, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn go a long way.

· Get Ready for a Hands-On Tour: Qualified applicants will be invited to meet the team, tour our custom, outdoor-only facility, and see first-hand what a typical day looks like.

Working here gives you the opportunity to learn from experienced staff, grow in multiple areas of animal care, and be part of the best dog care environment in town.
